Who can use Favor
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to register for or use the Service. There are no exceptions to this requirement, regardless of jurisdiction, parental consent, marital status, or any other circumstance. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.
Application required
Favor is not open registration. To become a member, you must complete an application and be approved by our review team. We may decline applications at our discretion. Application decisions are described in our Content Moderation Statement and Refund Policy.
Account eligibility
To register and maintain an account, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide a valid email address.
- Use your real first name and authentic photos of yourself.
- Provide accurate information during onboarding.
- Complete selfie verification.
- Maintain only one account at a time.
- Have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
- Not be a person previously banned from Favor for cause.
- Not be located in a jurisdiction where use of the Service is prohibited by law.
Truthful representation
You represent and warrant that all information you provide to Favor during registration and throughout your use of the Service is accurate, current, and complete. Providing false information is a material breach of this Agreement and may result in immediate termination.
Your account
Account creation and authentication
You may create an account through email registration, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In, subject to the rules in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
One person, one account
Each individual may maintain only one Favor account at a time. Creating or maintaining multiple accounts is prohibited. We may identify and consolidate multiple accounts at our discretion.
No sharing
Your account is personal to you. You may not share access to your account with anyone else, permit anyone else to use your account, or transfer your account to another person.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must promptly notify us at support@favorconnect.com of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses or damages resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
Membership tiers
Membership is offered at multiple tiers, including a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Gold and Diamond). Features and pricing for each tier are described in the Service and in our Subscription Terms. Subscription terms, billing, cancellation, and renewal rules are governed by the Subscription Terms document.
Using the Service
Personal, non-commercial use
Favor is for personal use only — to meet other adults for serious, mutually-respectful relationships. You may not use the Service for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to advertising, soliciting customers, recruiting employees, promoting any business or organization, or any form of monetization of the Favor platform or community.
Respect for other members
Every member of Favor has been verified and reviewed. You agree to treat every member with respect — in conversation, in interactions, and in how you handle outcomes (including rejection and disinterest). The specific standards expected of members are set out in our Community Guidelines.
Off-platform meetings
Decisions to meet other members in person, exchange contact information outside Favor, or pursue relationships off-platform are personal decisions between adults. We do not facilitate, manage, or take responsibility for off-platform interactions. Our Safety Center provides guidance for meeting other members safely.
No reliance on Favor's verification
While we verify member identities and review applications, our verification systems are not infallible. You should exercise your own judgment about every member you interact with, regardless of any verification badges they display.
Prohibited conduct
In addition to the rules in our Community Guidelines, the following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination, cross-account ban, and where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.
Sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, solicitation of commercial sex, child sexual abuse material, threats of violence, and the sexual exploitation of minors result in immediate, permanent termination with no appeal — as detailed in our Anti-Sex-Trafficking Policy, Underage User Policy, and Content Moderation Statement.
Identity and authenticity violations
- Impersonating another person, including any celebrity, public figure, or other Favor member.
- Using photos that are not authentically of you.
- Lying about fundamental facts — your age, relationship status, gender, identity, employment, or intentions.
- Creating fake profiles for any purpose, including testing, demonstrations, or jokes.
- Catfishing in any form.
Harmful conduct toward other members
- Harassment, sustained unwanted contact, or repeated contact after someone has indicated disinterest.
- Threats of violence, intimidation, stalking, doxxing, or sharing private information without consent.
- Sharing intimate images of any person without their explicit consent.
- Slurs, hate speech, or derogatory language targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
- Grooming, coercion, or manipulation of any member.
Financial misconduct
- Soliciting or sending money, gifts, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or anything of financial value to or from other members.
- Romance scams, pig-butchering scams, or any form of financial manipulation through romantic relationships.
- Promoting investments, MLM schemes, crypto projects, or other commercial ventures.
- Soliciting employment, business opportunities, or commercial connections.
Platform integrity
- Using the Service for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
- Scraping, harvesting, or collecting member data through any automated or systematic means.
- Creating multiple accounts or circumventing account bans.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the Service.
- Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code through the Service.
- Conducting penetration testing or security research on the Service without our written authorization.
- Spamming members, sending mass identical messages, or coordinating with other accounts for inauthentic behavior.
Content violations
- Uploading photos containing nudity, sexually explicit content, violence, weapons used to threaten, hate symbols, or drugs.
- Uploading photos of other identifiable people without their consent.
- Uploading photos containing embedded contact information, social handles, or external URLs.
- Sharing copyrighted material that you do not have rights to share.
- Posting any content that violates applicable law.
Content you provide
What we mean by Content
"Content" means anything you upload, post, send, or otherwise make available through the Service, including your profile information, photos, messages, voice messages, location shares, and any other material you contribute.
Your ownership of your Content
You retain ownership of the Content you provide. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of your Content to us. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to share any Content you upload.
License you grant to us
To operate the Service, we need certain rights to use your Content. By providing Content to the Service, you grant Favor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your Content for the limited purpose of providing the Service to you and other members.
Scope and duration of license
- The license is limited to operating Favor — we don't use your Content to advertise to others, train AI models for non-Favor uses, sell to third parties, or any other purpose beyond providing the Service.
- The license is non-transferable to third parties.
- The license terminates when you delete your Content from the Service or when your account is closed, subject to the limited exceptions below.
- Some Content may persist after deletion: cached content beyond our control, content already received by other members, content retained as part of legal or moderation investigations, and aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you.
Member-to-member sharing
When you share Content with another member through the Service, that member can view it within the Service for as long as their access remains active. Content shared in chat, photo requests, or other member-visible surfaces is subject to the recipient's continued access, which we cannot revoke retroactively for received content.
Public versus private content
Some Content you provide is visible to other members of the Service (profile photos, public gallery photos, profile information). Some is visible only to specific members you choose (selective photos, chat messages). The privacy of each Content type is described in the Service. You acknowledge that any Content you make visible to other members may be remembered, screenshotted, or otherwise retained by them outside our control.
Right to remove Content
We may remove Content that violates this Agreement, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. We will do so when we identify violations through automated systems, member reports, or other means. We are not obligated to retain or store removed Content for you.
Subscriptions, payment, and refunds
Subscription Terms apply
Subscription plans, billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and other subscription-related matters are governed by our separate Subscription Terms document. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to those terms in addition to this Agreement.
Refund Policy applies
Refund eligibility is governed by our separate Refund Policy. Our default position is that subscription fees are not refundable, with specific exceptions listed in the Refund Policy (including duplicate charges, technical issues preventing access, unauthorized charges, and billing errors). The Refund Policy provides the complete refund framework, including platform-specific processes for Apple App Store, Google Play, and web purchases.
Platform billing
Purchases made through Apple's App Store are processed by Apple In-App Purchase, with Apple acting as merchant of record. Purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google Play Billing. Purchases made on the web are processed through Razorpay (for Indian customers) or PayPal (for international customers). The platform's payment terms apply to the billing relationship; our terms govern the Service relationship.
Failed payment
If a subscription payment fails, we will attempt retries as described in the Subscription Terms. Continued failure may result in subscription downgrade to the free tier. Your account is not terminated for payment failure — your subscription is simply downgraded.
Our intellectual property
Service ownership
The Service — including the Favor name, logos, brand, website, mobile applications, code, design, algorithms, content (other than member-provided Content), and all related intellectual property — is exclusively owned by Favor or our licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited license to you
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only. This license terminates automatically if you breach any term of this Agreement.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Service.
- Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or publicly perform the Service or our Content.
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service.
- Use any data mining, robots, scraping, or similar data gathering or extraction methods against the Service.
- Use the Favor name, logos, or trademarks without our written permission.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices on the Service.
Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us an unrestricted license to use that feedback to improve the Service. We are not obligated to credit you or compensate you for feedback you provide.
Copyright complaints
Favor respects intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on the Service in a way that constitutes infringement, you may submit a takedown request through either of the following processes, depending on which legal framework applies to your situation.
Indian copyright takedown (Copyright Act, 1957 and IT Rules 2021)
Send a takedown notice to support@favorconnect.com containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material on the Service and its location.
- Your contact details — name, address, phone number, email.
- Evidence of ownership of the copyrighted work.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate.
- Your signature (physical or electronic).
DMCA takedown (US Digital Millennium Copyright Act)
For copyright complaints arising under US law, send a DMCA notice to support@favorconnect.com containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), including identification of the copyrighted work, the infringing material, contact information, good faith statements, and your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notice
If your Content has been removed pursuant to a copyright takedown and you believe the removal was made in error, you may submit a counter-notice to support@favorconnect.com. Counter-notices must include identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error, your consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and your signature.
Repeat infringers
Members who repeatedly infringe copyrights of others will have their accounts terminated. We may also terminate accounts based on a single, particularly egregious infringement.
Termination
Your right to leave
You may terminate your membership and close your account at any time through Account Settings or by contacting support@favorconnect.com. Termination by you is effective when we process your request, typically within a few business days. After termination, your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Our right to terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for:
- Material breach of this Agreement or any incorporated policy.
- Conduct that violates our Community Guidelines.
- Conduct that endangers other members or the integrity of the Service.
- Detected fraud, scam activity, or attempts to deceive other members.
- Suspected trafficking, exploitation, or other prohibited activity per our Anti-Sex-Trafficking Policy and Underage User Policy.
- Extended periods of inactivity.
- Requirement by law, court order, or regulatory direction.
- Any other lawful reason at our discretion.
Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Some Content may be retained per our Privacy Policy. Subscription handling on termination is governed by the Refund Policy — wrongful terminations may entitle you to refund; terminations for policy violations generally do not.
Survival
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including those regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and any obligations you have to us — will survive termination of this Agreement and continue to apply.
Disclaimers
Service provided "as is"
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
No guarantees about other members
Despite our verification systems, application review, and ongoing moderation, we cannot guarantee the conduct, identity, or sincerity of any member. We are not responsible for the actions of other members, whether on the Service or off-platform. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members.
No matchmaking guarantee
Favor is a platform that helps members find each other. We do not guarantee that you will meet anyone, form any specific relationship, achieve any specific outcome, or have any particular kind of experience. Use of paid subscriptions does not increase the guarantee.
Third-party services
The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party services (payment processors, social platforms for verification, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or actions of third parties. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their respective terms.
Disclaimers to the extent permitted by law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions don't allow exclusion of certain warranties — in those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Favor and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
- This includes loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or other intangible losses.
- This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our total cumulative liability to you for any matter arising from or related to this Agreement or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Favor and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your breach of this Agreement or any incorporated policy.
- Content you provide to the Service.
- Your interactions with other members.
- Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
- Your use or misuse of the Service.
Privacy
Your privacy is critically important to us. The personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, your rights, and how long we retain it are all described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to our processing of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time as our Service evolves, as laws change, or as our practices change. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Agreement.
- Notify active members through the app or by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, where reasonably practical.
- Offer you a meaningful opportunity to review the changes before they apply to you.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Agreement. If you don't agree to a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and close your account before the change takes effect.
Communications
By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us — including emails, push notifications, and in-app messages — regarding your account, the Service, your subscription, safety matters, legal updates, and other matters related to your use of Favor. You may control non-essential communications through Account Settings, but you cannot opt out of essential communications related to your account, security, legal matters, or safety.
Disputes and arbitration
This section governs how disputes between you and Favor are resolved. It includes an arbitration clause and a waiver of class action rights. Some of these provisions limit your rights and the procedures available to you, so please read carefully.
Informal resolution first
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at support@favorconnect.com and provide a clear description of the issue. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally and in good faith. Most disputes are resolved this way.
Governing law
This Agreement and any dispute arising out of or related to it are governed by the laws of India, and specifically by the laws of the State of Uttar Pradesh where applicable, without regard to conflict of law principles. This choice of law does not override mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you under your local law and that cannot be waived by contract.
Arbitration
Any dispute between you and Favor that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, conducted in English under the rules of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The arbitrator's decision is final and binding, subject to limited rights of appeal as provided by law.
Class action waiver
To the extent permitted by applicable law:
- Disputes will be resolved individually, not on a class action or representative basis.
- Neither party will assert or participate in any class action, mass action, or representative proceeding against the other.
- You may bring claims only on your own behalf and not as a representative of others.
If this class action waiver is held unenforceable in your jurisdiction, then the entire arbitration provision will not apply to your dispute, and your dispute will be resolved in the courts identified below.
Jurisdiction
If a court determines that any portion of these arbitration provisions does not apply to a dispute, the dispute will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh, India, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Confidentiality of arbitration
Arbitration proceedings and the resulting award will be kept confidential by both parties, except as necessary to enforce the award or as required by law.
General provisions
Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with the policies it incorporates by reference, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Favor regarding the Service and supersedes any prior agreements between you and us on the same subject matter.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement is not a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or any rights or obligations under it to any other person. We may assign this Agreement to a successor entity, an acquirer of our business, or an affiliate, provided that the assignee assumes our obligations to you.
Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under this Agreement that results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, labor disputes, infrastructure failures, or other force majeure events.
No third-party beneficiaries
This Agreement is between you and Favor only. No other person has rights under this Agreement, except as expressly provided.
Headings
Section headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of the provisions to which they relate.
Accessibility
We are committed to making the Service accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and continue to improve accessibility over time. By checking "I agree" during registration, or by completing registration, or by using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by it. You also acknowledge that you have read the policies incorporated by reference — including the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, Subscription Terms, Refund Policy, Underage User Policy, and Anti-Sex-Trafficking Policy — and agree to be bound by them as well.
You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement and that you are entering into it of your own free will. You should download and keep a copy of this Agreement for your records.
